Brandy Lynn is a freelance writer, quilt designer, teacher and speaker. She is honored to share her craft with the public this year as the 2013 Artist in Residence at the Summerland Art Gallery.

Her past shows have featured vibrant fibre art landscapes, hand dyes and batiks with beads, shell and bone. She loves to create fibre art in abstract designs, photo imaging, and mixed media with stitch, paint, found objects and foil.

She is currently working on her first book of poetry and an art series inspired by that collection. She is inspired by art, nature, and the amazing people in the world around her.
